As of Tuesday evening, Alex and I no longer have a stove (which technically went Sunday) or a fridge. For, like, 4 weeks. Right now, our leftover fridge stuff that we didn't give to the lovely Michelle is hanging is hanging out in a cooler on our balcony, but I don't imagine that'll last long, because it's getting warmer already.

So, our plan is to buy just a few barbecueable (or toaster ovenable, I suppose) foods every day.

Yeah.

I predict a lot of delivery and restaurants in our future.

It occurs to me, though, that the loss of our sink is going to be a lot more problematic; it's not like we can do dishes in our bathroom sink. Maybe I can lug dishes to work and wash them in the fully-functional double sink in the break room.

Mmm, delivery and restaurants....it would make me not want to have my kitchen finished!

Perhaps you could do dishes in the bathtub...

But if it were me, I would just go out all the time. SO not worth the hassle of buying things every day and then trying to figure out how to clean stuff!

Yeah, th lack of sick sucked big time. Especially with a toddler. We used the bathroom sink when necessary, and the bathroom occasionally, but I'll admit there was a lot of eating out.
