Well, *that* was exciting.
Alex and I are not in Vancouver; we're back home.
Apparently the 7 p.m. ferry was so severely buffeted (Jimmy Buffeted?) by the crazy winds that they delayed the 9 p.m. ferry to see what would happen with the weather. When they said it was docked "until further notice" at 10, we gave up and came home.
Probably a good thing for the good people of Vancouver that I wasn't driving their streets at 1 in the morning, given how much I was yawning on the drive home...
We'll try again tomorrow morning. But, uh, probably not the 7 a.m. ferry. :)
