I have a cold sore on the skin under my nose. I don't know that I've ever had a cold sore anywhere other than my lips before. Have I? I don't remember it...and I think I would. It sucks. Ass. Not that the lip ones are so great, but I'm more used to them. I feel very, very sorry for people who get these on their nether regions.

I was in a show tonight, my first one in six months, and only my second in the last 18 months. It went well, I think. Certainly the audience seemed to enjoy it, but it was a private gig and they'd been eating and boozing for hours, so I don't know how accurate a meter their approval is. I think I got shrill in parts, but then, don't we all?

Flexing improv muscles is good.

I've moved at work again, started another rotation in a new office space. Actually, a new cubicle space, since they don't have an office for the articled student right now. I have a phone that doesn't ring and doesn't have voicemail - apparently they're not in the habit of providing students with voicemail in this rotation, wish I'd known that before - so I have to ask people to leave messages on my regular phone and check it periodically. Fun.

Also, the pile driving? MUCH more noticeable from my cubicle than from my nice normal office.

The main printer is right outside my cubicle, so there's the noise of printing and people coming by all day, and one woman in particular talks to herself, remembers I'm there, then interrupts me to apologize for talking to herself and surely interrupting me. Man, I hope that stops soon.

On the other hand, the work is pretty interesting. :)
