Although the province of B.C. is happy to provide me with medicare while I am in Ontario, the province of Ontario demands that I get an Ontario driver's license. So this morning I went to trade my B.C. license in for an Ontario license.

Turns out, I have to get a G2 license in Ontario, because I haven't been driving for 2 of the last 3 years. That's right, I'm 30 frickin' years old, and I can't get a full license in Ontario. Since I'm over 19, the only restrictions are that I can't have any alcohol in my blood and everyone in my vehicle has to have a working seatbelt, which...okay, not a big deal.

However, guy at the driver's license place this morning told me I should just keep my B.C. license and lie to police if I ever got pulled over. What a good idea! Why didn't I think of that???? Tool.

Here's the most annoying part, though: they gave me a piece of paper, and told me my card would arrive in 2-4 weeks. Which means I am without picture I.D. AGAIN!! Frick.

However, guess what I found right next to the driver's licensing place? A sushi supply store! In, like, the middle of nowhere! So guess who's having sushi for dinner this weekend? Mmmmm...

Also, I got a letter in the mail from Starbucks today, thanking me for my feedback and including coupons for 2 free drinks. Just in time for my trip to Toronto and real Starbuckseseseses next week! Just what I need to accompany my tour of the Toronto jail: a triple latte. :P

So, do you have to post a big L-oser sign on your car then?! And more seriously, does this effect your insurance rates?

Glad to hear you had a nice birthday - and that you enjoyed the Solly's!

What was your feedback to Starbucks?! I gotta write them a letter if it means free coffee!

Oh, and hope you enjoy the sushi this weekend!!!!!!

Erica - I sent a very detailed list of complaints about the Starbucks in Sudbury. There were bullets. It was a very serious complaint.

Amy - what's "next" Friday? I'm in Toronto "this" Friday, to me - Nov. 10th. Also, I'm quite confident I missed *your* birthday, so no mea culpas from you!
