HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Well, Gregorian anyways.
Alex and I spent yesterday evening at a friend's house playing games and drinking, always an awesome way to usher in a new year. We played the Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture DVD game, which was not as fun as I would have guessed. We played the Amy Game, and my team sucked major assage, while Alex's team got on a major roll. Seriously, they slaughtered us. Mostly because most of my team wasted their precious seconds saying things like "I don't know what this means" and "I don't know how to get you guys to say this". One girl even just said she gave up. Yeah, that's awesome. One girl spent her minute trying to get us to come up with the name of a Mad TV character, which I didn't know because I never watched, so I kept asking her things like "Is there another celebrity with the same name?" and "Does the name sound like anything?" Yeah, we ran out of time. And the name? Stewart. Phew, definitely no other way to get us to guess that!
Nice people, but Holy Frustrating, Batman!!
Yummy food was eaten, delicious drinks were consumed, kisses were exchanged at midnight. Much fun was had by all, even though Alex and I had to most of the way home at 2:30 in the morning because there were no cabs to be had.
