Apparently everyone but the Liberals wants my vote. Seriously, I have now conducted two very long phone surveys with "market research group working for unnamed political party" about my thoughts on the upcoming election. The first one was oddly focused on how I felt about the NDP budget plans, and the second one only wanted to know how I felt about the Conservative budget plan and Stephen Harper in particular. Sadly, I was only allowed to rank him on a scale of 1 to 5; I guess there was no space in the interviewers form for "vitriolic diatribe".

The Green Party just accosts me on the streets.

I'm not sure if I should be offended by the lack of attention from my Liberal candidate. Aren't I worth wooing?

I went to a Law party last night that actually involved non-co-op students, my first one in over a year. Seriously, I had co-op terms Jan-April and Sept-Dec in 2005, with a summer semester of school in between. Which means that I'm in class with non-co-op students for the first time in 12 months, and the school is strangely full of 1st and 2nd year students that I do not know. It's oddly alienating. On the other hand, I got effusive welcome backs - and kisses! - from many people last night, so at least I feel loved. :) I could have done without the kisses on my eyebrow ring, though - dudes, it can still get infected! Do you have any idea how bacteria-ridden the human mouth is???

I'm a tad hungover this morning. Shouldn't I have outgrown this by now? Ah, well, I'm sure that a long night of poker tonight should fix that right up.
