Wow, it's been a WHILE since I posted.

I went back and modified a bunch of posts in which I think I had made it a tad too clear where I was working and how that was going, and I just didn't really feel like posting for a long time after that.

I'm in school again now. In the throes of applying for co-op jobs for September. It's more than just a bit weird that I have a job for 2006-07 and 2007-08 (when I will be articling here in Victoria), and yet I don't know what I'll be doing in September 2005...very odd.

Alex and I saw Batman Begins. It was AWESOME.

We saw Bewitched. It was...uh...less than awesome. Luckily we had used a 2 for 1 pass on it, so we only wasted $8.25. :)

I'm taking a course in Indigenous Women and the Law, and in that class we watched Pocahantas (for its portrayal of indigenous women). Oh. My. God. I am not the world's hugest fan of Disney movies to begin with, but could that movie be more offensive? On many obvious levels - but also as a historian. It has been a long time since I have seen such offensively inaccurate history!!! Augh!

We had two improv shows this past Saturday night. The audience turnout was low, but the shows went well, so the balance was good.

I just discovered that there is a very cool-looking lantern festival in Victoria in July. I'm continually surprised by the funny things this city has going on. :)

Finally an update! (teehee. Hi pot, I'm kettel)

Weren't you supposed to be in Sudbury or something?

Haven't seen Batman yet. I'm not a big comic book movie fan, so I don't know if I want to spend the $$.

So, I should probably sign my comments, huh? That was me before.

That's what I *guessed*, but clarity is nice. :)
