As of this morning, only 5.5 working days left! Woohoo!

I don't think I mentioned earlier that I got my learner's license a couple of weeks ago. Not that this was any great accomplishment; because I had a license many, many years ago, I didn't even have to write the test. Which I wish I had known before I studied the book, but whatever...after doing the paperwork and handing me my temporary license (which I sadly cannot use as a piece of ID, since it's just a big piece of paper with no picture), the woman at ICBC handed me the very book I'd studied and told me I might want to take a look at it since the rules had changed since I had my license. Uh, shouldn't you test me again, in that case? Eh. I passed their little online practise test, so don't you worry!

Also, I won the $35 pot in our poker game last weekend. My second time playing Texas Hold-Em, so I was quite proud. I don't really feel a great need to play for money, but the guy who owns the chips insists.
