Amy came and stayed with us last night. She's on the island to launch into a series of interviews with people who participated in the Citizen's Assembly for her thesis, and the has the coolest little toy to help her record the interviews. And voice recognition software! I'm experiencing a little technology envy...

We went out and played pool with my friend Sarah at Peacock Billiards, which is just down the street from our house. We've never been before; I always thought the place looked a little sketch, but it was totally fine. It was good fun, especially when Sarah and I met an entertaining French man who was baffled by a radio trasmitter. We must go again some day.
