Various members of my family and I were on Pender Island this weekend.
More specifically, my mom rented this house for a week, but I could only stay for the weekend. Damn work.
The house was nice, except for the part about the dog hair everywhere and two members of our party - my sister and my brother's girlfriend - being severely allergic to dogs.
Magic Lake was nice, except for the part about it being apparently full of sewage.
The beach we went to and the ocean we swam in was nice, if a little cold and murky. And then we found out the murk was due to yet more sewage.
My experience of Pender Island: nice, but full of sewage. Sigh.
