So, I had to order a case from the courthouse library this morning.
I asked them to email it to me.
I spelled out my email address to them, which is pretty much firstname.lastname@workplace.ca.
I just got a phone call from the courthouse library.
Their email to me keeps getting bounced back, and they don't appreciate me wasting their time by giving them the wrong email address.
"Did you put an 'i' in my first name?" I asked.
"Yes," he said.
"There's no 'i' in my first name. I did tell you that earlier when I spelled it out." I said.
Long pause.
"Oh." he said. "Well, I'll try it again."
"Thank you." I said.
I guess it IS one step up from people who reply to my emails and still spell my name wrong.
