Well, that went well.
Maggie suggested to me that it would, indeed, be a good idea to have a blog so that people could know what's up with me. I suppose I could have just directed her here, but, well, it wouldn't actually have given her any information. Oops. So, uh, I'm updating.
Hmm...
I had dinner at the Naam restaurant tonight. It's Vancouver's oldest vegetarian restaurant, which I discovered when I last lived here 10 years ago...the food and the atmosphere are still good, but I can't help but feel that part of the reason I keep going back there is because I associate it so much with who I was then. It's hard to remember now that I felt so ridiculously and recklessly invincible once.
Plus they make kick-ass nachos.
I went out with Cynthia and her new boyfriend Jeremy, who I was meeting for the first time. He seems nice, though in all honesty Cynthia and I did almost all of the talking. We were both kind of babbling a lot - her, I'm sure, trying to be comfortable, and me trying to reassure her with my verbosity that all was cool. Next time will undoubtedly be more relaxed...
