these are not my walls

I have been sick for the past few days - sinuses blocked, my nose red from blowing, hacking knives-in-my chest cough - but this morning it seems to (finally!) be gone. Except I still can't hear out of my right ear.

I feel so off-balance!

In other news, I have a 4-day weekend coming up! Next Tuesday's a holiday, so I'm taking the Monday off in lieu of a Saturday I spent at a CLE session. My exciting plans for the weekend are to sleep! And put the doors on our new wardrobe! And practice for my voice and violin lessons!

Oh, yeah, and cull through 100+ academic books and articles and write a memo on some esoteric constitutional principles. :)

Good grief, apparently to my mind I married a dinosaur. A Very Superior dinosaur.

Although, interestingly, it appeared to me that the men's questions had a lot more negative things - like, he gets points for not calling me fat in public, and not shaving his pubes at the dinner table - whereas the ladies had a lot more positive requirements - like I lose points for not taking the kids to church, and not dressing for breakfast on Sundays with perfectly straight hose.

Yep. I am a far superior husband (129, baybeee! Don't you want me now?), and he is a merely average wife (47 - must be all the red nail polish.)
