I know, I know, I'm overdue for an update. I'm sorry. I've been very busy. Silly judges with their "important" research requests!!

Update on the car name: I've chosen Pippi. Which is extra appropriate, given the hula dancer car freshener my sister gave me last Christmas; it's almost like we're in the South Seas!

Alex is arriving tomorrow. Maybe he'll update the blog for me! :P

Sooooooo close:

You Are 29 Years Old

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.
What Age Do You Act?

Sorry for the lengthy silence. I went to Thunder Bay. It was nice, I have pictures and stories to tell. But right now I'm just taking a break from moving, so that fun will have to wait.

I'm moving upstairs in my same building. If you know my address, the new one is exactly the same except it's apartment #4 instead of apartment #3. If you don't know my address, and you want to, email me.

We had a crazy ass snowstorm today. Apparently I'm the only loser who didn't hear the storm warning this morning, so I blithely drove to work. I left work early to try and make it home, fishtailed for a bit (I was only doing, like, 25 km/hr!), decided this was craziness, pulled into a parking spot, put some money in the meter, walked home (carrying backpack, groceries and beer, in my sneakers.)

Discovered that, as of today, if you park on a street in Sudbury overnight, you get towed. Snow removal concerns or something.

Put my boots on, trudged back downtown, put another $1 in the meter, waited in a cafe for traffic to die down. Drove back to courthouse parking lot (decidedly UNPLOWED), parked, walked home. Started moving.

Actually, the second walk - where I was warm enough and my feet were dry - was quite nice. However, I'm thinking winter tires might be in order. :P In my defence, it was always my PLAN to get winter tires, I just haven't had TIME yet - I just got back last night!

I also need to put something heavy in my trunk to weigh down the car a bit. I'm thinking Law textbooks.
