these are not my walls

I went golfing for the first time ever on Wednesday night, and my right shoulder still hurts. Is this normal? I should point out that the place where we golfed - the Oak Bay Rec Centre, $9 for a round, two clubs and a ball - appeared to only have clubs made for short people. I practically had to bend in half to hit the damn ball. I managed a 21 over par round. On, uh, a 9-hole course. Oh yeah.

Last night I took some of the non-UVic students who are here for the International IP Law Program to see Atomic Vaudeville last night, starring my charming husband. Great hilarity ensued, and a fair amount of nudity (not Alex's. He promised.) The only thing we *didn't* see was breasts, ironically enough. I think I'll be making up for that in class today with the stupid gaping neckline on my only clean shirt.

Man, it is frickin' HOT in my classroom!

At least it's not as bad as yesterday - apparently they actually had the heat on! Good thing I skipped. I mean was sick. Very, very sick.

Something I never though I would hear in an intellectual property law class:

"The next idea," [points at board] "Well, I scrubbed it out to draw my amoeba..."

This is why I have to stop talking in class: I just suggested that a copyright that is 95 years long that started today would terminate in 3001. Oops.

My prof for one of my international intellectual property courses has a stutter and can't spell worth shit. Am I the only one who finds this entertaining??

In other news, I got my driver's license yesterday. Almost 12 years to the day after the first time I got it. I'm never letting this sucker expire again!
