Wow, apparently I was so blown away by Jay showing up out of nowhere and posting a comment that it immobilized my blogging abilities for some time! Hi Jay! :)
It's a gorgeous sunny day, a balmy 5.5°C. I don't know how I'm going to survive in Sudbury next year. It's apparently -12°C there today. Minus! Below zero! I'll die! Stoopid winter.

Because I like to be many, many years behind the times. Or at least Amy. Isn't she the times?
Alex and I somehow ended up with several fish to feed over the holidays. One from Cynthia and Jeremy, who brought their fish to our house rather than asking us to bus to their house every day. I thought that was kind. Their fish is kind of hilarious; he gets very still and then pounces on the food as it sits on the top of the water, thrashing it into submission. Then a neighbour down the hall asked if we would feed her three fish. Since they're just down the hall, and in a big tank (as opposed to funny fish's bowl), she gave us a key to her place to go in and feed them. Um, I don't even know this girl's *name*. Glad to know we look so trustworthy...take that, Alex's mom, who thinks he looks like a terrorist when his hair gets too long!
